This notice explains how LemonOctopus (https://www.lemonoctopus.com) handles personal data when you enquire through the intake form or email us. It describes our current practices — it is not legal advice and does not claim formal certification.
What we collect
When you submit an intake brief we collect your name, email address, project type and the contents of your brief. We also process technical signals used for abuse prevention (IP address for rate limiting, Cloudflare Turnstile tokens when configured).
Why we collect it
We use enquiry data to reply with scope and pricing, keep a short operational record of the conversation, and protect the form from spam and abuse.
How long we keep it
Intake submissions stored in our Redis cache are retained for up to 90 days, then expire automatically. Email copies in our inbox may be kept longer as part of normal business correspondence.

- Vercel — hosting and analytics
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Upstash — Redis storage for rate limits and intake records
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the intake form
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete enquiry data we hold. Email jake@lemonoctopus.com with the subject “Data request” and enough detail for us to find your submission (email address and approximate date help).
